Car Rental System

Programming IOT Assignment was to complete a car booking system that connects with a local device located within the car along with a sever/website allowing people to book the car, all services where hosted locally on a raspberry pi. As seen in the repo this is broken up into 3 sections API (MySQL), MasterPi & AgentPi running python

Checkout

A program to allow staff to easily checkout items such as keys, vehicles etc. depending on what venues, departments & access they have been given. Utilizing NextJs, ExpressJS, Docker & FusionAuth Checkout can be a fully multi-tenanted application (Currently a work in progress)

Work Experience

Aquatic Operations Team Leader

State Sports Centres - Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC), 2022 - Current

My role as an Aquatic Operations Team Leader at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre Sport is to lead a team of 80-100 lifeguards operating in one of the largest aquatic facilities in Victoria, delivering events ranging from local sport competitions to International level events including, the 2022 FINA Short Course World Championships, Australian Paralymic trials. Whilst managing the team to ensure staffing standards are kept high along with maintaining the facility equipment. My day to day duties include but not limited to:

    - Training staff & ensuring qualification compliances are met.
    - Liaising with other teams to ensure deliverables are met for the community, staff & stakeholders
    - Rostering staff & approving pays
    - Working on & delivering Local, State, National & International events at an operational level to ensure a smooth event starting from the planning to the delivery.
    - Working with HR to resolve issues with staff members, many of whom this is their first job
    - Ensuring safety and compliance across the aquatic space, being member of the Risk & Safety committee
    - Ensuring we are operating to all local, state & national laws & gide lines
    - Creation & mainlining of internal documents & tools
    - Liaising with contractors to ensure all equipment is maintained
Venue Responder (Duty Manager)

State Sports Centres - Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Lakeside Stadium & State Netball & Hockey Centre, 2019 - 2022

As a Venue Responder at SSCT, my role is to work across the various State Sports Centres venues as the chief fire warden and the chief first aid officer at all times, Having knowledge and understanding of how and what all departments operate and preform various tasks across all departments. The role also expects us to liaise with contractors inducting them onto the site and ensuring all necessary procedures are followed. Security is the responsibility of the Venue Responder from door control to closing the venue or arranging with security contractors. Completing and following up on any safety related issue or staff performance that needs to be dealt with outside of business hours. Whilst having an oversight of the whole facility.
